About Me

You’re here because you want to know if I can help you. You want to know if I can get you or your family on the road to feeling better.

With over a decade of experience working across all ages, I have helped countless families. Before opening Poui Consulting, I spent ten years at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as an Assistant Professor and Psychologist. As a professional with a family of my own, I understand how difficult it can be to balance all aspects of your life. I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for busy professionals and their families.

My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or financial stress, I am here to help you develop strategies for coping and achieving your goals.

I am regularly quoted in the media, providing my expert opinion on all things mental health and money. You can find me mentioned in The New York Times, Forbes, Parents, and more.

My qualifications are listed below, but to summarize, mental, emotional, and financial wellness are my thing. I dedicated my life to learning this stuff. I’m your family’s therapist. I work with babies, kids, teens, adults, romantic partners, and families. And in case you couldn’t already tell, I’m pretty chill about it.

Using a gentle, yet firm, and compassionate approach, I walk with you as you journey to wellness. I bring my island girl laid-back approach and soft, melodic accent into my work, so get comfy!

Let’s start by getting to know each other a bit with a complimentary phone consultation.

And thank you for stopping by!

Signed,

Dr. Traci Williams

Yellow poui tree (Tabebuia serratifolia), Trinidad & Tobago. Photo credit: Aarti Gosine.

Poui (pooh-ee) season was one of my favorite times of year growing up in my home country, Trinidad & Tobago.

The trees bloomed bright yellow and pink, and you could see them dotting the hillside. The flowers blanketed the grass beneath the trees. People stopped to marvel and talk about how pretty they were.

I’m happy to join you on your wellness journey as you bloom.
